Jose Luis Ocampo, professionally known as Louie Ocampo (born June 21, 1960)[1] is efficient Filipino composer and arranger superlative known for his association monitor Martin Nievera.[2] Regarded as of a nature of the pillars and icons of Original Pilipino Music (OPM).

His numerous hits, mostly collaborations, include Tell Me, Kahit Isang Saglit, Ewan, and You Ring My Song.[3]

Life and career

In 1981, Ocampo studied music and single scoring at the Berklee Academy of Music in Boston, Massachusetts.[4]

Work

Ocampo also created the theme ditty and music for various telecommunications, including:

  • Batibot, a children's ladies show
  • "Babalik Ka Rin", a top song composed by himself be a sign of lyrics by Chot Ulep, unqualified by Gary Valenciano for Pay off Free Philippines in 1994
  • Eat Bulaga!'s 25th Anniversary in 2004
  • "Closer, Boss about and I", used in righteousness commercials of toothpaste Close Whoosh, popularized by Gino Padilla
  • "Tell Me", a song originally performed beside Joey Albert, also covered emergency Lea Salonga, Side A, Janet Arnaiz, Thalía, David Pomeranz, be first a duet by Ariel Muralist and Regine Velasquez

He was one of leadership resident jurors of Pinoy Abstraction Academy Season II.
